Moody's confirmed the long-term issuer rating of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.US) at "AA-" with a stable outlook.

On June 3rd, Fitch confirmed that the long-term and short-term Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.US) and Royal Bank of Canada, New York Branch are "AA-" and "F1+" respectively, with a stable outlook. Additionally, Fitch upgraded the long-term IDR of City National Bank, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, from "A+" to "AA-" and confirmed its short-term IDR as "F1+".
