UN convoy attacked in western Sudan, resulting in 5 deaths.

On June 3rd local time, UNICEF and the World Food Programme released a joint statement stating that a United Nations convoy carrying humanitarian aid was attacked in the city of Koma in North Darfur, western Sudan on the night of June 2nd. The attack resulted in the death of 5 people in the convoy, with many others injured. Several trucks and the aid materials they were carrying were also destroyed.
