UNHCR: Armed conflict in Sudan has displaced approximately 12.4 million people.

On June 3, local time, the United Nations Refugee Agency released a report on the situation in Sudan, stating that the armed conflicts in Sudan have caused approximately 12.4 million people to be displaced. Approximately 8.1 million Sudanese are internally displaced within the country, 4 million people have sought refuge in neighboring countries, and around 270,000 foreign refugees are displaced again within Sudan.
