Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh: Welcome Chinese companies to invest and do business in Bangladesh.
On January 1st, Yunus, Chief Adviser of the interim government of Bangladesh, stated in Dhaka that Chinese companies are welcomed to invest and do business in Bangladesh. Investments from China will help improve the well-being of the Bangladeshi people and realize prosperity. Yunus mentioned at the China-Bangladesh Trade and Investment Conference that Chinese companies are leading the global manufacturing industry, and he hopes that Chinese investors will consider Bangladesh as an investment destination and production center. He emphasized that Bangladesh is actively undergoing economic transformation, working to improve the investment environment, simplify regulatory processes, and optimize the business environment to attract foreign direct investment, promote economic development, and create more job opportunities. Yunus highlighted that Bangladesh has a young population, high-quality labor force, strong creativity, great market potential, broad investment prospects, and a dynamic economy, offering many opportunities in sectors such as textiles, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and information technology. He encouraged Chinese investors to deepen their understanding of these opportunities. The China-Bangladesh Trade and Investment Conference took place in Dhaka on January 1st, with over 400 representatives from Chinese and Bangladeshi enterprises and business associations attending the event.
