On June 4th local time, Hu Wangming, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Baowu Group, visited the site of the Ashburton iron ore project in Australia to conduct on-site inspections and research on the production and shipping situation during the project's capacity ramp-up period. The Baowu Resources Ashburton project, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is a jointly developed iron ore project by Baowu, Mineral Resources Limited (MRL) of Australia, POSCO of South Korea, and American Metals & Coal International (AMCI) with a designed annual capacity of 35 million tons. Baowu owns approximately 22.66 million tons of commercial rights at the Ashburton project per year. The project is currently in the capacity ramp-up phase and aims to achieve a full system capacity of 30 million tons per year in the third quarter of this year.
