Recently, it was learned from the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Bureau that the number and scale of private equity venture capital funds in the Shenzhen area have been growing continuously for 6 years, continuously playing the role of an innovation "accelerator" and supporting the high-quality development of technology innovation enterprises. As of the end of December 2024, there were 801 private equity venture capital fund managers in the Shenzhen area with a total of 3,429 private equity venture capital funds registered, managing a total of 410.342 billion yuan. The number and scale of funds increased by 4.13% and 1.13% respectively compared to the previous year. The number of private equity venture capital funds has increased by 2.65 times since the end of 2018, and the scale has increased by 2.25 times, with average annual growth rates of 24.09% and 21.74% respectively.
