On May 31st, Toyota's all-electric exclusive series Toyota bZ made its first independent appearance in a family of products at the 2025 (29th) Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, alongside FAW Toyota and GAC Toyota booths. According to Toyota, the Toyota bZ series was born in 2022 and has developed the Platinum 4X, bZ3, Platinum 3X, bZ5 and other products covering sedan, SUV, crossover and other categories for different customer groups in the Chinese market. In addition, Toyota plans to launch the Platinum 7, the first Toyota D-class sedan with the Hongmeng cockpit in 2026.
