Myanmar police seized a large quantity of drugs in Naypyidaw.

According to the official Burmese newspaper "The Light of Myanmar," on May 31, the Burmese police recently seized 134 kilograms of heroin and over 1.99 million tablets of stimulants in Naypyidaw. The report stated that after receiving a tip, anti-narcotics police confiscated the drugs in two cars in Le Way town of Naypyidaw on May 20, and arrested six suspects. Another suspect was arrested the next day. The report also mentioned that the relevant authorities have filed charges against the suspects and are further investigating the case.
