According to the Zhtng Cijng APP, it was reported by the media that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM.US), known as the "king of chip manufacturing", is evaluating the construction of a large chip manufacturing factory in the United Arab Emirates with the most advanced technology. They have already discussed this with officials from the Donald Trump administration. This plan is a significant investment in the Middle East, aiming to capitalize on the AI chip manufacturing capacity in wealthy Gulf countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait. However, the ambitious plan of TSMC to build a factory in the Middle East will only proceed with approval from Washington.
