National Bureau of Statistics: High-tech manufacturing continued to expand in May.

From the perspective of key industries, the PMI of the high-tech manufacturing industry is 50.9%, remaining in the expansion zone for the fourth consecutive month, continuing the good development trend; the PMI of the equipment manufacturing industry and the consumer goods industry are 51.2% and 50.2% respectively, which increased by 1.6 and 0.8 percentage points compared to the previous month, showing a rebound in business activity; the PMI of the high-energy-consuming industries is 47.0%, which decreased by 0.7 percentage points compared to the previous month, indicating a low level of market activity.
