BYD Co., Ltd.: New energy vehicle sales in May reached 382,500 units.

BYD announced that in May 2025, the company's sales of new energy vehicles were 382,500 units, compared to 331,800 units in the same period last year; the cumulative sales for the year were 1,763,400 units, compared to 1,271,300 units last year, a year-on-year increase of 38.70%. Among them, passenger vehicle sales were 376,900 units, compared to 330,500 units in the same period last year; the cumulative sales for the year were 1,735,600 units, compared to 1,266,900 units last year, a year-on-year increase of 37.00%. Commercial vehicle sales were 5,546 units, compared to 1,329 units in the same period last year; the cumulative sales for the year were 27,726 units, compared to 4,391 units last year, a year-on-year increase of 531.43%. In addition, the company's overseas sales of new energy vehicles in May totaled 89,047 units, and the total installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries was approximately 28.48 GWh. The cumulative installed capacity by 2025 is estimated to be around 107.51 GWh.
