According to data from the National Energy Administration, in April 2025, the National Energy Administration issued a total of 216 million green certificates, an increase of 23.94% compared to the previous month, involving 104,300 renewable energy generation projects. Among them, 165 million green certificates were tradable, accounting for 76.36%; in this period, 191 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy generation in March 2025 were issued, accounting for 88.17%. From January to April 2025, a total of 878 million green certificates were issued by the National Energy Administration, of which 621 million were tradable. In April, there were 59.4 million green certificates traded nationwide, with 27.39 million of them being green electricity trade certificates. From January to April 2025, a total of 259 million green certificates were traded nationwide, with 87.83 million of them being green electricity trade certificates. In April, a total of 32.01 million green certificates were traded separately nationwide, with an average price of 2.31 yuan per certificate, an increase of 63.24% compared to the previous month.
