Beijing: Bid-winning project for the construction of the north city water supply enhancement project and sewage treatment plant in Kashgar City.
BJT Announcement: The company has received the BOT franchise agreement signed with the Water Authority of Kashgar City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, for the "Kashgar City North Water Supply Capacity Enhancement Project and Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Project". The bid price is 1.326 billion yuan, with a franchise period of 30 years. The project includes water supply and sewage treatment engineering. The water supply project includes the construction of a new maximum daily water supply capacity of 79,100 cubic meters, a clean water plant, a sedimentation tank of 1,650,000 cubic meters, transmission and distribution water mains, and the expansion and renovation of the North City Water Plant. The sewage treatment project includes the construction of a new sewage treatment plant in the Central Asia-South Asia Park area with a daily sewage treatment capacity of 50,000 cubic meters, and the effluent quality meets the Class A standard of the "Urban Sewage Treatment Plant Pollutant Discharge Standard". The estimated total investment of the project is 1.326 billion yuan, which will be undertaken by BJT's wholly-owned subsidiary, Kashgar BJT Water Development Co., Ltd., with the capital raised by itself. It is expected that the completion of the project will have a long-term positive impact on the company's future operating performance.
