According to the latest research from Counterpoint's market monitoring service, the shipment volume of smartphones in the Middle East and Africa in Q1 2025 increased by 7% year-on-year. This is the first time that the region has achieved year-on-year positive growth after experiencing consecutive declines for two quarters. Strong holiday demand during Ramadan and Easter, expanded device supply, and moderate inflation collectively drove consumer spending in the quarter.
