More than 3,000 companies participate in the opening of the 20th China Western International Expo.

On the morning of May 25th, the 20th Western China International Fair opened in Chengdu, Sichuan. With the theme of "Deepening Reform to Increase Momentum, Expanding Opening up to Promote Development", the five-day event attracted over 3000 companies from 62 countries and 27 provinces in China. This edition of the Western Fair focuses on expanding high-level opening to the outside world, deepening regional exchange and cooperation, promoting the construction of a modern industrial system, and promoting trade cooperation within the "dual circulation" framework. It is the first time that there are dual guest countries and dual guest provinces, namely Hungary, Laos, Zhejiang, and Qinghai. The UAE serves as a special invited cooperation partner, deepening the connection between Sichuan Province and countries and brother provinces participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. At the same time, there are three main exhibition areas with fifteen theme pavilions, showcasing the latest technological achievements and distinctive industries from various regions, covering an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters.
