The live broadcast lasted for 4 hours and the Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) exceeded 50 million yuan, with over tens of millions of viewers. At the same time, it was announced that the next live broadcast, scheduled for June 15, will be the first time to challenge a continuous 8-hour live broadcast, focusing on promoting hot products for the 618 promotion as well as new products for the summer. It is reported that Baidu Youxuan is a new e-commerce platform that Baidu collaborates with for the first time, following Douyin and Taobao. The two parties will cooperate to develop intelligent e-commerce. Data shows that in 2024, the number of live broadcasters on Baidu Youxuan increased by 281% month over month, with GMV doubling, and the GMV for live broadcasts increased by over 11 times.
