Central Meteorological Bureau: This round of rainfall is coming to an end, with some areas of Yunnan and South China experiencing heavy rainfall.
On May 24th, the Central Meteorological Observatory forecasted that the heavy rainfall process today is coming to an end. There will be heavy rain or torrential rain in parts of southeast Guangxi, western Guangdong, and northern Hainan Island. In addition, over the next three days, there will be more rainfall in western Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi, with mainly moderate to heavy rain, and locally heavy rain. Today, in parts of the Ili River Valley in Xinjiang, southeast Guangxi, western and southern Guangdong, and other areas, there will be moderate to heavy rain, with some areas in southwestern Yunnan, southeastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangdong coastal areas, and Hainan Island experiencing torrential rain. It is worth noting that some areas in southern Gansu, southern Shaanxi, western Henan, southwestern Ningxia, and eastern Heilongjiang will experience thunderstorms, with locally strong convection weather such as thunderstorm winds or hail.
