On May 23rd, local time, President Trump said at the White House that South Korean company Samsung Electronics and other companies manufacturing phones will also face tariffs. Earlier that day, he had posted on social media that any iPhones manufactured abroad and sold in the US should face at least a 25% tariff. Trump also said that the related policy is expected to be implemented starting from the end of June.
