National Bureau of Statistics: The price of live pigs in early May decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous month.

On May 24th, the National Bureau of Statistics announced that according to monitoring of the prices of 50 important production materials in 9 major categories in the national circulation sector, in mid-May 2025 compared to early May 2025, the prices of 24 products increased, 24 decreased, and 2 remained stable. Among them, the price of live pigs was 14.7 RMB per kilogram, a decrease of 0.7%; the price of soybean meal was 3026.6 RMB per ton, a decrease of 6.6%.
