Domestic gold prices in jewelry stores have once again broken through the 1,000 yuan mark.

International gold prices rebounded on May 21st, with COMEX gold and London spot gold both breaking through $3300 per ounce. Due to the impact of international gold prices, the prices of gold jewelry in domestic gold shops once again exceeded 1000 yuan. The prices of 24K gold jewelry at Chow Tai Fook and Chow Sang Sang rose to 1008 yuan per gram, an increase of 26 yuan from the previous day's 982 yuan per gram; and the prices of 24K gold jewelry at Lao Miao rose to 1004 yuan per gram, an increase of 27 yuan from the previous day's 977 yuan per gram.
