The third China-New Zealand Mayor's Forum and China-New Zealand Friendship City Exchange Festival was successfully held in Chengdu, hosted by the China People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the New Zealand Global Cities Association, and organized by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government. Leaders or representatives from 10 local governments in New Zealand including Palmerston North, Hamilton, Marlborough, Rotorua, Taupo, Auckland, Hastings, Wellington, Christchurch, and Napier, as well as government and institutional leaders from Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shandong, Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou, and other regions, gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as economy and trade, education, culture, urban governance, and technological innovation, achieving extensive consensus.
