Taobao accelerates going global, millions of merchants sign up for overseas 618.

In terms of Taobao's overseas expansion, as of now, nearly one million merchants have signed up to participate in the 2025 Tmall 618 overseas event, a record high. Taobao's overseas data shows that since the pre-sale of 618 started on May 13, the cross-border transaction volume of 11 categories including beauty, skincare, sports shoes, baby diapers, and milk powder has doubled year-on-year. This year, Taobao will also accelerate its overseas expansion.
