Canadian finance minister: The total cost of rebuilding Ukraine exceeds 500 billion US dollars.

During the meetings of the G7 finance ministers and central bank governors, Canadian Finance Minister Pengfei Shan and Ukrainian Finance Minister Marchenko held a press conference and answered questions from the media. Canadian Finance Minister Pengfei Shan stated that there is tension within the G7 regarding tariff issues. He said that the G7's mission is to restore stability and growth. During the meetings, the G7 will discuss issues such as capacity building, non-market behavior, and financial crimes. Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Shan stated that the reconstruction work in Ukraine will cost over $500 billion. He reaffirmed that Canada will continue to provide financial support to Ukraine. Ukrainian Finance Minister Marchenko stated that the G7 finance ministers will discuss all necessary and key issues related to the reconstruction in Ukraine.
