At the press conference held by the Ministry of Transport today, Sun Wei, Deputy Director of the Standard Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, introduced the relevant situation of China in promoting the internationalization of standards. By the end of 2024, China's overall transformation rate of international standards exceeded 83%. By vigorously promoting the development of international standards, China actively proposes international standards in the fields of e-commerce, ships and marine technology, cold chain logistics, etc., contributing Chinese wisdom to the improvement of the international standard system. In recent years, China's efforts in international standardization have been widely recognized, with more than 200 Chinese experts and the secretariats undertaken by China receiving commendations from the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.
