Ministry of Finance: This year, we will select a second batch of 20 cities with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to promote urban renewal action in a high-quality manner.

On May 20, a press conference was held by the State Council Information Office on the "Opinions on Continuously Promoting Urban Renewal Action." At the conference, Guo Fangming, Director of the Economic Construction Department of the Ministry of Finance, stated that urban renewal requires a significant investment of financial resources. This year, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will select a second batch of 20 cities to participate in the urban renewal action. Meanwhile, performance evaluations will be conducted on the progress of urban renewal work, fund management, and other aspects to strengthen tracking and ensure high-quality advancement of urban renewal action.
