Analyzing April's macroeconomic data: Resisting pressure to maintain stable growth
In the face of increasing external shocks and compounded internal challenges, China's economy has withstood pressure to maintain stable growth and has demonstrated strong resilience. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on May 19th showed that in April, the value-added of large-scale industries increased by 6.1% year-on-year, domestic demand steadily expanded, the national urban survey unemployment rate decreased for two consecutive months, and new productive forces are being nurtured at a faster pace. Experts analyzed that with the recent introduction of a series of measures to stabilize the economy and employment, as well as a package of financial policies gradually taking effect, the economy is expected to maintain a trend of stable progress in the next stage.
