Ping An Life once again takes action, the insurance fund holds a stake in H shares.

Recently, as the trustee of Ping An Life Insurance funds, Ping An Asset Management has successively purchased shares of Postal Savings Bank and Agricultural Bank through competitive bidding, each reaching 10% of the share capital of the two banks, triggering a takeover. Reporters found that since 2025, insurance institutions have announced 15 takeover announcements. Compared with previous years, the pace of takeovers by insurance institutions this year is more frequent. Some insurance institutions did not stop at the minimum 5% takeover threshold, but chose to continue to increase their holdings after the initial takeover, and even exceeded the 10% takeover threshold.
