Chen Haolian: Hong Kong's financial status connects internally and externally, can help Middle Eastern companies expand into Asian markets.
According to the Securities Times APP, Chan Ho-lim, Deputy Commissioner of the Hong Kong Financial Services and Treasury Bureau, stated that Hong Kong has the advantages of fund freedom in and out and a low tax system, and also uses the common law system familiar to the Middle East. He believes that this can attract more Middle Eastern companies to cooperate with Hong Kong and help Middle Eastern companies enter the mainland market. He pointed out that under the current global situation, businesses will still prioritize their operations. Unless they have no intention of expanding in Asia, Hong Kong remains a good "landing point".
