"Sold out before the end of October, tickets from Chengdu to Xinjiang start at 50,000 yuan for the 'Panda Express' train"

According to Sichuan Observation report, on May 18, the Y444 "Panda Special Express Chengdu" departed from Chengdu Anjing Station in Sichuan, heading to Kashgar Station in Xinjiang, carrying 109 Chinese and foreign tourists to embark on a 16-day "Panoramic Northern and Southern Xinjiang Ultimate Tour". The "Panda Special Express Chengdu" started global pre-sale in December 2024, with ticket prices starting at 50,000 yuan, roaming the entire Xinjiang for 8000 kilometers. As of now, a total of 10 trips from May to October on the Xinjiang line have been sold out, with 70% of them being inbound tourists.
