In 2030, the scale of China's data industry will reach 7.5 trillion yuan.

On May 17th, it was learned from the 2025 Data Security Development Conference that China will cultivate and strengthen a number of enterprises in the data element industry chain, aiming to reach a data industry scale of 7.5 trillion yuan by 2030. As the first country in the world to include data as a factor of production, China has initially established a complete data industry chain. Data shows that in 2024, China's annual data production reached 41.06 zettabytes, a year-on-year increase of 25%. As of now, there are over 190,000 related enterprises in the data field in China, with a data industry scale exceeding 2 trillion yuan. Calculated at an average annual growth rate of over 20%, China's data industry scale is expected to reach 7.5 trillion yuan by 2030.
