According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency on the 17th, North Korean leader and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong Un inspected the flying squadron of the People's Army First Air Army Brigade on the 15th, guiding the air force in air defense combat and airstrike training. The training aims to familiarize the flying squadron, air defense missile units, radar units, and electronic warfare units with combat tasks such as detecting, tracking, and defending against enemy cruise missiles and drone attacks. The report stated that Kim Jong Un emphasized the importance of evaluating the ability of air defense units to carry out actual combat missions and taking necessary measures, and that this training would be very beneficial for pilots to become familiar with modern aerial combat tactics. Kim Jong Un also proposed tasks regarding the development of aviation weapon systems, air defense measures, integrated detection electronic warfare systems, and integrated anti-drone systems.
