The two-year UK government bond yield rose by about 10 basis points this week.
This week, the yield on UK 10-year government bonds rose by 8.0 basis points, closing at 4.648% on Friday in the European market. It continued to fluctuate upwards from Monday to Wednesday, reaching a high of 4.723%, before retracing some of the gains on Thursday and recovering slightly on Friday. The yield on 2-year UK bonds increased by 9.7 basis points to 4.005%, starting from 3.930% on Monday and reaching 4.032% on Wednesday. The 30-year UK bond yield rose by 4.6 basis points to 5.392%, while the 50-year bond yield increased by 10.4 basis points to 4.669%. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread decreased by 1.542 basis points to +64.066 basis points.
