On the 15th local time, the Guyana military accused in a public statement that its troops had encountered three armed civilian attacks in the border area with Venezuela, which did not result in any casualties. Military statement revealed that in the past 24 hours, "armed individuals disguised as civilians launched three separate attacks on Guyana Defense Force troops conducting river patrols along the Kutuni River on the Venezuelan side of the border," emphasizing that "the Guyana Defense Force responded with restraint each time, and no soldiers were injured."
