Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen will visit China, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its expectations for this visit.
On May 15th, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, hosted a routine press conference. Lin Jian announced that at the invitation of Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Danish Foreign Minister Rasmusen will pay an official visit to China from May 17th to 20th. Lin Jian stated that current Sino-Danish relations are developing well, with close economic and trade cooperation, green and innovation partnerships, and consensus on important issues such as climate change. China is willing to work with Denmark to use this visit as an opportunity to strengthen political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Denmark.
