It was learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that Professor Pan Tingrui and Researcher Chang Yu from the Suzhou Institute of Higher Learning, along with Professor Tang Yongbing and Researcher Zhang Fan from the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shenzhen, have developed a long-lasting and stable lithium-ion battery in-situ expansion force monitoring technology in collaboration with Professor Tang Peng's team from USTC. The related research results were recently published in "National Science Review". According to the researchers, this technology has opened up a new path for intelligent battery design, with its low cost, high precision, and long life characteristics being particularly suitable for use in vehicle battery management systems.
