The Dutch Broadcasting Corporation NOS cited NATO sources as reporting that the United States opposes inviting Ukrainian President Zelensky to the NATO summit to be held in The Hague on June 24-25. The Trump administration is not particularly supportive of this idea, partly due to the tense relationship between the two leaders. A source said that refusing to invite Zelensky would be "a diplomatic disaster for the Netherlands, and no spokesperson can defend it." At the same time, the source emphasized that there are still six weeks until the NATO summit, and the situation may change.
