In April, the total passenger throughput at Pudong Airport was 6.8688 million, a year-on-year increase of 13.09%; the cargo and mail throughput was 328,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.10%; and the number of aircraft takeoffs and landings was 45,410, a year-on-year increase of 7.30%. The total passenger throughput at Hongqiao International Airport was 4.1201 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.12%; the cargo and mail throughput was 34,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.22%; and the number of aircraft takeoffs and landings was 23,019, a year-on-year increase of 7.10%.
