On May 14th, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference. A reporter asked: On April 30th, the mainland animated film "Chang'an Thirty Thousand Miles" was released in Taiwan. In addition to the Mandarin version, a Minnan dialect version was also specially introduced, which was well received and praised by the audience in Taiwan. Some viewers expressed that they felt "extremely familiar" and looked forward to more mainland films being released in Taiwan. What is your comment on this? The spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Chen Binhua, said that "Chang'an Thirty Thousand Miles" is a rare masterpiece of animated film. The film revolves around the legendary stories of Tang Dynasty poets such as Gao Shi and Li Bai, skillfully incorporating 48 classic Tang poems, fully showcasing the elegance of the flourishing Tang literary scene, allowing the audience to deeply feel the patriotism and the charm of Chinese culture. When "Chang'an Thirty Thousand Miles" was released in Taiwan, a Minnan dialect version was specially produced for some Taiwanese viewers to provide a more familiar viewing experience and add a different flavor to the film. I have watched the Mandarin version very carefully, and I have seen some clips of the Minnan dialect version, as a Minnanese, I feel very familiar. We hope to see more outstanding mainland films and television works broadcast in Taiwan, and we are delighted to see cross-strait industry players working together to create more excellent works.
