China Petroleum Group and CITIC Group sign strategic cooperation agreement.

According to China Petroleum Daily, on May 13, China Petroleum Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CITIC Group. Before the signing of the agreement, Dai Houliang, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Petroleum Group, Hou Qijun, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, held talks with Xi Guohua, Party Secretary and Chairman of CITIC Group, and Zhang Wenwu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager. Dai Houliang expressed the hope that both sides would take this agreement as an opportunity to fully leverage their respective advantages, deepen practical cooperation in areas such as comprehensive finance, equipment manufacturing, international trade, and oil and gas development, and jointly fulfill the duties and responsibilities entrusted by the country. Xi Guohua expressed the expectation that the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement would be a new starting point for both sides to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, achieve strong alliance, and create a new benchmark for strategic cooperation among central enterprises.
