Midea Medical and VMI Group of Brazil signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

On May 12, Midea Medical, a subsidiary of China's Midea Group, officially signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Brazil's VMI Group. Brazilian President Lula, chief minister of the presidency, and Minister of Health attended the signing ceremony. According to the agreement, the two parties will establish a joint venture in Brazil, focusing on the research and localization production of high-end medical equipment such as MRI, CT, and Cath lab. The joint venture will establish production facilities and research centers to promote medical technology that meets local market demands, and jointly explore the Latin American market.
