Saudi AviLease has confirmed that they have directly ordered up to 30 Boeing 737 Max aircraft.

The aircraft leasing company AviLease, headquartered in Saudi Arabia, has confirmed its first direct order with Boeing, confirming the purchase of 20 737-8 aircraft and retaining the option to purchase an additional 10 aircraft. The statement says that these aircraft will help Saudi Arabia achieve its goal of serving 330 million passengers annually and attracting 150 million tourists by 2030.
