SoftBank Group's Vision Fund business announced on Tuesday that it recorded a loss in the fiscal year ending in March, as the growth of this technology investment giant has continued to slow down. The financial report shows that SoftBank's Vision Fund achieved investment income of 434.9 billion yen in this fiscal year, a significant decrease of 40% from the previous year's 724.3 billion yen. The fund as a whole recorded a pre-tax loss of 115.02 billion yen, a sharp contrast to the profit of 128.2 billion yen in the previous year. Due to concerns about financial market volatility and the macroeconomic environment, SoftBank's stock price has fallen by approximately 17% so far this year.
