The Regional Revitalization Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, in conjunction with relevant departments, organized a video conference to deploy and promote the implementation of initiatives to promote employment and income growth for key groups through the use of labor in place of relief. The meeting emphasized that all regions should strengthen departmental coordination and focus on the employment and income growth needs of key groups. They should further increase the planning and preparation efforts for labor-for-relief projects, focusing on the construction of small-scale infrastructure in urban-rural integration and agriculture and rural areas. They should further explore work positions in engineering construction, service support, project management, and post-construction maintenance, and implement labor-for-relief projects with high standards and high quality. They should make every effort to absorb and drive key groups for local employment, ensure timely and full payment of labor remuneration, and simultaneously improve the employment skills of the working population through pre-job training and labor training methods.
