On the afternoon of May 13, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a video conference on the intelligent transformation of cosmetic filing management in Guangzhou. Xu Jing, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation introduced the construction and application of AI-assisted verification tools for cosmetic filing, and participants made suggestions regarding expanding application scenarios and optimizing functions. The meeting pointed out that in recent years, the drug regulation system has adhered to the principle of informatization leading to modern regulation, actively exploring around AI-enabled regulation, and achieving significant results. It emphasized the need to focus on high-level safety, high-quality development, and efficient governance, seize the opportunities of the times, actively promote the intelligent transformation of cosmetic regulation, accelerate the construction of a scientific and precise intelligent assistance system, comprehensively strengthen the capacity building of intelligent cosmetic regulation, and continuously improve the level of informatization, digitization, and intelligence of cosmetic regulation.
