World's First! "Precise Denitration Technology for Metal Magnesium Smelting Industry" Technological Achievement Released

On May 12th, the scientific achievement of "Precise Denitrification Technology for Magnesium Smelting Industry" was released in Fugu County, known as the "Magnesium Capital of the World". This achievement filled the gap in exhaust gas denitrification technology in China's magnesium smelting industry, making it a global first. Shaanxi is the largest magnesium producing region in the world, with magnesium production ranking first globally for over 10 consecutive years. However, during the process of magnesium smelting, challenges such as high nitrogen oxide emissions and environmental pressure are faced. In response to the demand for clean production in the magnesium smelting industry, especially in northern Shaanxi, Yulin Clean Energy Innovation Research Institute, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shaanxi Zhonghuan Carbon Energy Technology Co., Ltd. collaborated to develop the "Precise Denitrification Technology for Magnesium Smelting Industry", targeting the industry's pain points and bottlenecks.
