Stellantis aims to start production of the hybrid version of the Fiat 500 in November.

Car manufacturer Stellantis said on Monday that it aims to start production of the hybrid version of the Fiat 500 City Car in November. The model is being produced at the historic Mirafiori factory in Turin, with the goal of revitalizing the Fiat brand in Europe and improving Italy's sluggish production levels. The company said that assembly work on the first pre-production units has already begun at Mirafiori, which Stellantis referred to as "a key step in the industrialization process of the model".
