Hikvision has established a new technology company with a focus on semiconductor-related businesses.

According to the QiChaCha app, Hangzhou Weiying Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. was recently established. The legal representative is Ling Zailong, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. The business scope includes: manufacturing of industrial automatic control system devices; sales of intelligent instruments; manufacturing and sales of instruments and meters; manufacturing and sales of semiconductor device specialized equipment. Equity penetration data on QiChaCha shows that the company is wholly owned by Hangzhou Hikvision Weiying Sensing Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hikvision.
