India imposes anti-dumping duties on ammonium phosphite and its salts from China.

On May 8th, the Indian Department of Revenue, Taxation Bureau issued Notice No. 9/2025-Customs, accepting the affirmative final ruling proposal on anti-dumping made by the Indian Ministry of Commerce on February 10, 2025, regarding glyphosate and its salts originating from or imported from China. It was decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of $2998 per ton on the products involved from China, effective for a period of 5 years. This case concerns products under Indian customs codes 38089193, 38089399, 38089991, and 38089999. The measures will come into effect from the date of publication of this notice in the official gazette.
