The China-US high-level economic and trade talks have made substantive progress and reached important consensus. Song Yu, Chief China Economist at BlackRock, stated that although more details need to be finalized in the talks, both sides have clearly stated in their statements that they have made significant progress, which rarely happens in such circumstances, demonstrating a high level of consensus between the two parties. Progress in US-China bilateral relations is not necessarily a zero-sum game, such as accelerating market access, which is not only in line with China's economic reform direction but also beneficial for improving relations between the two countries. The progress in US-China relations, along with increased support for domestic economic policies, is one of the key reasons for the recent improvement in the macroeconomic situation. It is expected that despite the significant progress in US-China relations, economic policies will continue to be strengthened to maintain the positive momentum achieved since the beginning of the year. These changes are likely to boost confidence among domestic and foreign investors in China's assets, benefiting the Chinese market. (Caishishe)
