Upgrade of non-iron sea-rail intermodal transportation in Hunan and Guangdong: The first point-to-point train from Hengyang South to Guangzhou Nansha Port has been launched.

On the morning of May 10th, a freight train loaded with 108 standard boxes of baking soda and refrigerators departed from the Hengyang South Station in Hunan to the Hunan Hongguang Logistics Co., Ltd. railway line. After the train arrives at the Nansha Port South Station in Guangzhou, the goods will be transferred to a sea-faring vessel and sent to their final destination. This marks the official opening of the "Hengyang South - Nansha Port South in Guangzhou" point-to-point train service, which is an important step taken by the railway department of Hunan to further promote the high-quality development of the railway-sea intermodal transportation corridor between Hunan and Guangdong.
